as pointed out before, the opposites in tones are wonderfully captured. this is a beautiful composition, and i appreciate the way the hdr doesn't overwhelm the shot, one doesn't focus on the post processing in the viewing, which i feel is very important.

awesome stuff, i see some of adams work in this, great contrasting landscapes and water... i enjoy watching the two boats, one is in the dark, the other in the light... and the boats are oppositely lit, so the boat in the darkness is light, and the boat in the lightness is dark... almost yingyang styled in a boatie kind of way!
