I don't know why I'm writing in this stupid book, but I have no one else to talk too at the moment, right now I am sitting by a fire in the middle of a forest. Somewhere outside of Ohio. Not sure which city. I don't really care to be honest, I only go into the town to steal any food I can, or some dumb asses wallet when there not paying attention. My name is Alex Red Winchester and I'm alone....I hate being alone, the silence is fucking maddening, all I can hear is the crackling wood of my fire. Which I guess isn't so bad right now, least its something.
Anyway I think I'm gonna try and lay down and get some sleep tonight, hard as it is in the dirt, maybe I should say why I'm sleeping in the woods someday. But this is so stupid talking to myself through a journal, guess I could take notes for the monsters I've been killing in this thing instead, I know what to do with certain monsters but mostly I just kill them with my sword. And that....is another thing I should explain, but I'm gonna sleep now.
I'll head out of town in the morning....

I'm outside Ohio now. Somewhere in Indiana I think...to keep my sane right now, and to try and take my mind off my aching feet I've been walking on for two days now, I will write about my sword. My family's sword.
It's been in the family for a very long time since feudal Japan, how it got to the states along with my family is a mystery as the whole story has been forgotten through the generations, the katana is ancient as I have been told it was made by God himself and handed down to my family as protection and to keep it safe. It has Enochian markings up and down the sides of the blade, and they faintly glow a light blue sometimes, its said it can kill anything demon or monster related, so far it hasn't let me down.
The angels have called us keepers, a basic human warrior of heaven, but ha....I have never seen any protection from them period. They let my family die and I'm here on my own....looking for what family I have left, its been a long year...or two years, I have no idea anymore and really I'm too exhausted to care right now. But I am determined to find them...the bad thing is will they accept me how I am, with my curse, with how my eyes look. I have to wear sunglasses in public so not to be notices, by hunters and regular people.
The curse has effected the women of my family every since one of my ancestors pissed off a witch, sadly they didn't kill her, or we would have been cured. Who knows where she is now, one thing at a time, the important thing is finding my brothers. Sam and Dean Winchester. And avoiding any angels or demons on my ass, the warding I have drew on is starting to wear off....I need to redraw it........
