I just love here to death! She is a pop star (think of Pink)
While being a very powerful singer, She is pretty short and thin. Most other earth ponies are at least a head height above her.
She sometimes comes off as being snobbish, but this is because, when not on stage signing, she is very shy and doesn't know how to talk to others well.
And yes those are tattoos. the only part thats her cutie mark are the rose and feather.
They stand for her being a late bloomer, but having a voice like a song bird.
