O majestic lands, O paradise of antiquity
The sun is shining on the thickly grown trees

O chaotic lands, O everlasting wild
The beasts are dancing on this limitless world

O quiet spring, O pure surface water
The dark night is rustling deep within the jungle

The red mountains roared on the earth
Burning the stars of the whole sky with the bonfire of life

Those undying and vivid lives
While scrambling for blessings, they strongly flourish and shine

Art dedicated to one of my favorite songs by Akiko Shikata, Inishie ("Ancient Times"). Done in Paint Tool SAI.

This was actually started back in December, but I've done almost no art this month so progress on it was a slow crawl. I'm still getting settled into my new life. The good news is I can finally use Clip Studio Paint so I'm very excited to do some experimentation!
