- Not part of Luna's Shadow Army, nor the Royal Guard of Celestia, but standing amidst both. Twilight's Sentinels move between ponies, walking freely amongs the shade, and reflecting brilliant light. Outside of combat they are normal ponies who live love and laugh just as all.... But in the throes of war, they have sworn that Equestria will Prevail.---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just look at it, just... look at it. XD Sorry for gushing but I am so happy about how this one came out. I got really excited playing around with metals and lighting effects, and thanks to my long bit of being sick I had a lot of pent-up inspiration and I wanted to really push myself with it! I hope you guys like it, i couldn't be happier, and Twilight is a wonderful commissioner being so patient with me. Thank you.

I'm really happyu that you like it. A lot of the stuff in this pic was very experimental, so I am very happy that it turned out so good.
The background is a large dustcloud being kicked up by the surrounding battle, through which the ponies can be just barely seen.

You have all the rights to be happy about your artwork. Because it is an amazing one. Gosh! I love the details you put in this with the armor the armors, hooves protectors and the cape. But if there is one that took my eye is the horn protector. It's the first time I see this. I love it.

I think I have seen similar things, but they are usually part of larger more extensive helmets, I wanted to try and use something that was lighter.
