Description One point perspective drawing practice. Bird's eye view. A walled city!

This drawing took slightly longer to finish due the amount of little buildings. I tried to think about what different types of buildings can be found inside the city walls and how they would look like, such as homes, shops, churches, craftsmen, temples, etc. It's quite useful to approach drawing this way because if every little building had the exact same shape, it would be pretty boring. Also it's fun just imagining all the different buildings and the way it can be arranged within the city - it's like coming up with each houses' own story and the story of its inhabitants.

HB and 2B pencil on A4 copy paper.
