personality: Edmund is a calm, polite, intelligent, and sophisticated man with unrivaled intelligence and skill in magical abilities. Due to having the Brand, Edmund is not one to judge another based on appearance, preferring to ascertain the content of another's character before making a decision. He is calm and courteous to all he speaks to, and in spite of his intelligence, he seems to be unaware of the fact that nearly every woman in Lachesis has a crush on him. He has a deep admiration of his mother and father, although he is often annoyed by his mother's overprotectiveness.

history: Edmund was born to Flamedramon and Abigail five-hundred years ago, long after the two had joined Lachesis. Great things were expected of Edmund (especially by his mother), but nobody expected him to be as skilled in magic as he was. Abigail gushed over him constantly, occasionally to Edmund's embarrassment. When Edmund was young, Abigail and Flamedramon left with Zelda and Andromon on a quest, and so Edmund was basically raised without his parents.

Prior to the beginning of the story, Edmund left on a job that lasted for several months. He would not return to Lachesis until Geitz's attempted usurping of Ulysses' position as leader. Edmund fought and defeated Lloyd, before aiding in the fight against Geitz himself. Edmund was finally reunited with his mother and father, two-hundred years after their departure, not long after the defeat of the demon Behemotmon.
