Wah hah! Tis seung Mina from the fabled beat em up 'soul calibur'!Aw yeah- she's my second favourite character after Hwang... but she's more interesting to draw than he is. I changed her outfit slightly (that was supposed to be hwang's headscarf around her waist.)
The main thing is in pencil, the background made lazily in photoshop.

If you twisted her staff and her body a little more so that it faces us more, the foreshortening would work better. As of now, the weapon just looks short. I like the detail and the colors, though. It's a very cute looking Seung Mina.

Very nice, but what's with the backround? It doesn't seem relevent. Good, nice shading, though the weapon seems rather smaller than Seung Mina's. By the way, do you make any other Soul Calibur art?

There was supposed to be some foreshortening on the weapon, but i'm guessing it hasn't worked 
As for the background, i only really put it there cause it looked nicer than having plain white paper- but it's kinda relevant- it's a birth chart used for astronomy as far as i can tell, which was a common art in the time period in which soul calibur is set. (blag blag)
Yeah i have done other soul calibur art, though i can only draw mina and hwang without reference. (so requests are welcome!)

yeah you've got a point. It's just that the picture was rather small and detailed, i figured pencils would be best... hmmm.. maybe watercolour pencils!

with watercolour pencils you can work on the pic after colorizing with a little brush and it looks like real watercolours ^^ only more detailed.
