time I updated the old one - brushes I often use for my art
size of the brushes is not that important, I change it all the time -- I always start of with a 2000 x 2000 px canvas
IF YOU ARE USING PAINT TOOL SAI 2 MAKE SURE TO CLICK ON "VER1 PRS SPEC." UNDERNEATH MISCELLANEOUS AND BLUR PRSSURE UNDERNEATH BLENDING ON 0%
or else the brushes will be different (especially their density)

the brushes look nice!! Would the brushes still work if I use Clip Studio Paint? Would I be able to get the brushes if I click download for the image?

These are just screenshots of the settings, in SAI you add brushes by changing the settings yourself, these are not downloadable brushes

when you do, make sure to click on "Ver1 Prs Spec." underneath the Miscellaneous tab, or else it won't have the same effects
right now Im converting them to SAI 2 as well, so maybe I'll do a version for that as well haha

if you go to SAI and right click on an empty space you can choose what to add, what kind of brush , and then change the settings ^^

If you don't mind me asking, how are you able to get a steady line?Β
I haven't been able to transition to a tablet because whenever I do the sketching and lineart, it always comes out choppy, rough, and just really bad.Β I've tried putting less pressure on it and putting more pressure on it, but the line is the same (granted, my tablet is a really cheap one).

if you are using paint tool SAI, I highly suggest putting a stabilizer on it, its on the top row (underneath "other")
since its a cheaper tablet you probably have less pressure levels, so maybe you can increase the minsize of your line art brush, which makes it a little more steady

I use an old version of Photoshop (can't afford the newer ones XD ), but I might try switching to SAI since most people who are really good with tablet art seem to use that; maybe it's more tablet-friendly?

SAI has a stabilizer, something photoshop doesn't, so that could really help. I find drawing on SAI way easier then photoshop so I would highly recommend it

First off, I'm just a friendly neighborhood lurker.
You could check to make sure your drivers are properly installed.Β That's one issue I've had, another is the Min Size option.Β If it is at 100%, the line will have no thickness variance.Β As for the choppiness, practice!Β I used to have that problem too.
