Please don't tell me it's the end of your story?

No, it's not! I ran into some technical difficulties and did some other stuff, mostly LBH-related, but I'll continue the story!

That's good news

Well, as "Who should have read..." illustrates perfectly, whether single file conceals your strength or not depends on the angle you view the formation from!

Kudos, and a favourite, for the 2 pages of plain text.

Oh, nice to know that this big chunk of text thrown inbetween works for someone!

Worked for me too.

It works for me partly as a reminder of the history of the period, and as a reminder that, if you're a US citizen, claim European ancestry, and that your forebears moved West during that period then you're a descendant from oath breakers and/or a beneficiary of the oath breaking.Β

He is, apparently, aptly named.Β

I can hear you snigger from afar! Be notified hereby though that Bullshit / Buffalo Chips is a perfectly honorable name. Proper Cheyenne invectives relating to feces are, inter alia, "Shit Nose" and "Shitstain".

Ahhh...I should have remembered from before.Β

The PC version translation is "Buffalo Chips" but "Bullshit" is actually linguistically closer.

Dried buffalo chips were in fact an important part of Cheyenne life, they were used as fuel on the treeless plains. No bullshit - no warm meals!

There was a major Comanche chief whose name was "Buffalo Piss". Whites questioned a captured Comanche Woman about his name who tried to explain it through sign language. They thought the name was "Buffalo Dick" and found this embarrassing andΒ  settled for "Buffalo Hump" instead. The Comanches found nothing wrong with "Buffalo Piss" at all.

Heh, I knew about the fuel, but the Buffalo Hump story was very helpful Β I often wondered about that name tbh Β  I do so love reading your things here...always learning something new amongst the knowledge already there. Β Thank you for what you do!
