Description
Of coooourse I had to custom a Skelita.
This is by far my most time consuming custom doll yet. Her body mod took me forever, mostly because I always had to wait for the Apoxie sculpt to dry, before I could move on to the next bit.
The dress is supposed to be just as "one sided" as her body design, because I really didn't want to cover up her beautiful bone body sculpt (which is probably the coolest mainstream factory doll sculpt, in my opinion).

Original doll: Mattel Monster High Scaris Skelita Calaveras
Reroot: dyed raw alpaca fiber
Body mod: eye socket cut open, Apoxie sculpt add ons on left side of the body
Face: chalk pastels, colored pencils, acrylics, clear gloss, fake lashes
Dress: hand sewn from chiffon, lace, ribbons and glass beads
Dollstand: wire, plaster
