exploring more AU territory, mostly stuff requested by peeps over on my tumblr

1.) More of the Sunshine AU (more on that here: ), featuring adult Sunny rocking out with his eager lil half-sister, Wave Rider. Wavey volunteered to help her big bro sing an ode to yet another in a string of terrible boyfriends (much like papa Stormy, sweet Sunny can't resist a bad boy). 2.) An AU suggested by , in which it's Skyla that happens upon King Sombra's lost horn, rather than Moondancer.

"I could see her convincing herself she was meant to find the horn and in that way, finally ascend to being an alicorn. Then spiraling out of control into an attempt at tyranny (by trying to pose her rigid discipline on others) that becomes shockingly parallel to Sombra's own (because enslaved ponies carrying out her will are shockingly similar to her idea of 'disciplined' and 'hardworking')."

Yep, I can see Skyla taking to tyranny ridiculously easily. Using her newfound magic, she'd shatter the Crystal Heart and scatter the pieces, then let the Crystal Empire be enshrouded in a roaring blizzard. She utilizes a shield spell to keep the citizens safe (and contained), while the blizzard does the hard work of keeping out any meddling alicorn princesses attempting to disrupt her rightful rule. Under the influence of dark magic, Skyla would become a great and terrible queen, enslaving her people and forcing them to pay tribute to her, to love and adore her and never speak a word against her, unless that wicked pony wishes to "disappear."

3.) An AU requested on my tumblrrr, "What if Bruce was the one who dated Chakra instead of Stormy?". Welp, I could draw how their conflicting personalities would probably result in a dysfunctional toxic shithole of a relationship unlike any ever seen before, but eh, who needs the angst. I thought it'd be funnier to play it for laughs. Chakra is a sassy lil shit, and Bruce tolerates him....somehow. They fight a lot (like, a lot), and struggle with feelings, but I imagine they have moments of really intense, desperate "please don't leave me" sex/snuggles, haha it's funny cuz they don't know how to love in healthy ways, whatta pair of dorks. They have similar senses of humor, so they can make each other laugh, at least. Chakra gets Bruce to forgive him a lot by simply annoying him til Bruce cracks a laugh ("Oy, wipe that grin off your face, I'm still mad!")
