I know Snufkin appears far more humanoid in canon material, but I really like the idea of him only kinda being a human approximation. Like maybe from a distance, you'd assume he's a human, right up til you see him skitter up a tree in seconds, or wash his food in the river like a raccoon. He's just a little feral man. And he loves Moomin very much. Curious, warm-hearted, friendly and free, Snufkin is the most loyal friend anyone could ask for....as well as a brilliant accomplice if you need help with a felony.

For those of y'all not in the know, Snufkin is a traveler character from the Finnish children's series, Moomintroll. If you like cottagecore aesthetic, silly fairy tale characters with names like Fillyjonk and Snorkmaiden, and lots and lots of strong gay subtext, then you'll love the Moomins. If you're like me and don't know where to start with the series, I suggest dipping a toe in with Moominvalley (2019), the most recent animated show. It's very, very cute and relaxing to watch, and pretty funny! The 90s show is also good and hella chaotic
