For my friend

Somewhat inspired on this picture [link] Obviously not as detailed.

I don't know why but I feel like I should correct something here or maybe more than just one thing. But well, I'll take care of that when I notice it.

Anyway Oscar, you're awesome. You aren't only a great writter but you also got such nice taste on clothing, holyshit. And I'm sorry if I didn't entirely capture your grace here. Also I gave you a perv expression soooorrryyyyy.

Carpets and rug things are fun to decorate yaaaay

He looks smug. This is probably accurate.

My only complaint is that there are not enough naked men in his presence.

Wow great artwork! Oscar is awesome! Sadly he was always dressed by his publisher when he was photographed... so he did not actually pick his outfit himself. But still, he made for one of the most awesomest photos there are! XD
I love how you drew and coloured him, and I really like the couch textures

Oscar Wilde IS a fabulous dresser! He was the king of all dandies and you have illustrated it so well! I'm very excited about the folds in that red drape, and the detail on the pillow and the afghan! Wonderful job and choices on the colors!

Oh and the look on his face, he's beautiful. A pre-prison, happy Oscar, I think. What excellent work you do!

I'm glad you like it. I wanted to make his dandiness go overload in this picture, and looks like I succeeded

Yes, this is Oscar in his happy years, before his life turned to misery because of such an unfair reason I'm glad he's remembered with love nowadays.

Yeah, truly, instead of being remembered so unfairly as a dirty sex offender. But then the Ballad of Reading Gaol is such a beautiful, if not traumatizing thing to read but still.. that something so terribly, frighteningly beautiful still came out of him despite his circumstances is truly a testament to his character. Still so sad that it had to spring from such a horrible situation...

Oscar Wilde! I've actually just started "The Picture of Dorian Gray" for school, so this is pretty awesome. I love the detail and the coloring, especially on the blanket and pillow. He looks very sophisticated XD
