Well I had a random idea that hit me. so I just had to draw it. a anthro of one of those snake like dragons, but I did lengthen his arms and legs. and I got him some snazzy melt resestent cloths. most of it is made of a special metal, and the cloth is made of dragon hair.He lives in a world where every morning the volcanoes start to blast off like you see in this PIC. they do that continually, producing light and sending toxic gases into the atmusphear so the dragons can breath. Ash and rain of magma come down and cover the land with fresh ash, or feed the lava lakes, continually recycling the planet. and when night time comes, the volcanoes stop and take a break.
Yes, within the few seconds of making this guy I came up with a whole world for him and his kind, and all the other animals that live on it.
By the way, this guy likes to surf the magma waves
Don't worry, he won't melt. But a human would hope you all like it, even though it aint Sonic stuff

This was my first drawing of these kinds of dragons and was long before I was making the book. So they sat around for a 2 years or so before I decided to use them and formulated the book and then started writing.

But you know, it was the first picture and they are epic since then. Tell me one thing that became legendary at their very first appearence

his bored is made of a special metal, like his clothes are. See you are thinking of earthly matter. thus we think no living thing can survive on a planet like that. but we forget that here on earth, there is bacteria living in super hot mud. So Nasa could be skipping planets with life, just because it's hot. Life finds a way to live, so everything on that planet is adapted to handle the heat. It even has martereals that you would not find on Earth.

I love the way this turned out. It's as good as your work always is. The only thing I can see to complain about is, he doesn't look very serpentine for what you were probably going for.
