Here I am, training with my personal trainer, General Yokime. Who so happens to be a nine tailed fire Sir-Kitsue.Boy I can hardly wait to see what I will be able to do once I get nine tails. but that won’t happen for a long time.

Vocanease are bit different in culture from humans. Its not cocky or insulting. A fighter must remain calm and diceplend.

I can assume that Kiyo just caught him off guard in this exercise. I'm sure in a real fight, a nine-tails would beat a two-tails without any trouble.

That's good. You always need a villain who is either the hero's equal, or his or her better. Kinda like how Shadow was before he became a goody two shoes. He would've made an excellent permanent villain character.
