Good looking rifle. Though still prefer bolt action when hunting.

No worries. Still a pretty sweet weapon.

from what I see, it uses the m14/m1 garand operating system.....which means the scope isnt going to allow easy shell ejection which can result in jamming. With such a low capacity, I would rather opt for a bolt action rifle, you could easily and quickly load a round into the chamber if your magazine is out, or you can change the magazine itself.

Yea it does use a slightly modified M14 operating system. I'm also using a rail rather similar to the M14 rail. I just kind of assumed it worked alright on the M14 and didn't take jamming into consideration. And actually you had the option of loading the M14 through the ejection port.
Maybe raise the rail up so the spent shells have more room?

Question, why such a low cap magazine?

Primarily meant for hunting, so low capacity mags are normal. The mag length keeps it flush with the woodwork, which is aethstetic I think, and keeping it single stack instead of double stack is just a over the top thing done by some hunting rifles to ensure perfect feeding every single time.
Plus, it forces you to aim well because you can only screw up twice.
Similar concept to one shot rifles. If you miss you're screwed.
