Ceto was the queen of all the sea monsters, and the drakaina mother, known for giving birth to Scylla and Echidna


She was goddess of the dangers of the sea, and deity of all the large sea animals


The word "Cetacean", used to describe whales and dolphins, comes from this Goddess of Monsters
