by far one of THE best songs disney has ever created. I find myself singing it all the time, and mainly in the morning, which fits so well with the first line, and Clopin is a great narrator too!
Although it's not close to the book, like most disney films aren't, I really do love this version of the story, and those bells are truly done wonderfully!

It's been a while but I think I used my Staedtler Mars Technico for most of it, with a 0.5mm mechanical pencil for finer details.

You've obviously done your research! During the time in which HND takes place, the Reformation was underway and the Catholic church was trying to keep the printing press from turning into an industry. This look of dark pencil on parchment is the same style as the illustrations of the event in my history book.

I'm happy the perspective came out well - I wanted to make Quasimodo seem small against the ringing bells. Thanks for the comment and the fave!

Love this! So neat and so impressive. I like how you did the shading and the whole piece really has an "older" sort of feel to it.

Whatever their pitch you;
Can feel them bewitch you;
The rich and the ritual knells!
Of the Bells of Notre Dame!
The lyrics of this song were so brilliant.
