I am not really sure about how the Hellboy was made. I believe that my friend bought a real Hellboy sculpt from the movie, then used it as mould in order to make a latex foam mask that fits his own face (and nobody else's). Then he sculpt the chest, put the hair, the teeth, etc. The Right Hand of Doom is made of foam and covered in latex.
