I just finished a sci-fi book about living on the Moon, which got me to think about my Martian colony stories. I plan on making a couple more of these guild recruitment posters and their political impact on the Red Planet. By the way, what are the differences between a guild, a union, and a corporation? I'm too lazy to look it up.

The Prospector Guild is one of the older international organizations between the three main colonial regions of Mars (Bradbury, Burrough, and HG Wells). Not only do they scout the Martian deserts for valuable metals, water and oxygen, but their mining tunnels often make new underground colonies. Building underground, for the record, is safer than building on the surface because of the unshielded ultraviolet radiation. Their first great success story was the city of New Sedona built in the Labyrinth of Night canyons. As well as obtaining the necessary resources that the colonies need, the Guild is also willing to designate beautiful or historic vistas as planetary parks best left alone. Although it's not pictured, Prospectors often drive rovers, T-rexcavators and other mining vehicles or drone operating platforms.
