I've been trying to post a lot because I know once the semester starts I'll be virtually non existent. (I need to update our RP as well, sorry for the wait.)

I'm thinking sprints or hurdles. Maybe cross country? I don't know a whole lot about track, I was on the swim team in high school. But most of Tybalt's strength is in his legs and speed is his greatest asset, so track seems to fit. He'd also be an English nerd, assuming in an AU he has a much better grasp of written language and grammar rulesΒ than he does in PMA.Β (Oh goodness Pam would be such a cute art student. Biology and music seem right up her alley!)

Yeah - he seems like a good runner. I can see it in my head now - he seems like the unassuming, quiet guy that some people might be afraid of... who's a wicked fast runner and surprises everyone with it. (Ha ha - Pam's never been a good reader - but I imagine that if she had been able to go, she would be in love with books, especially fantasty and sci-fi. She likes everything to do with the imagination, and bodies.)Β And hey, practice is always good. I haven't been RPing much because school has just taken over my life (that, and the 10 hours of extra work I picked up suddenly, and somewhat accidentally, per week). I can see Pam as being the really honestly nice girl who volunteers a lot and helps tutor her fellow classmates when they need help. She seems like type to befriend teachers and have nerdy conversations with them about sci-fi films and doodle aliens on her papers.
School just started for me but I can tell in going to be very busy.Uh oh, good luck with those extra hours, friend! I actually dropped some hours this semester, which will hurt my paycheck but will probably help my grades overall. Not to mention my sanity.

You're right on the money with that one (although that sounds a disturbing amount like me - I know I'm still a complete suckup - but I always said there's not crime in wanting to be liked by your peers), I can definitely see Pam being a tutor. Although I'm not sure in what - she doesn't seem the math type .... but aliens? Definitely.Β

Goodness thank you! That's really kind of you to say! I'll think about making a meme template, but since these were AUs for myΒ particular interests, I'm not sure how many people would be interestedΒ in doing something so specific. But you should definitely do it anyway!

(I was a bit skeptical about how a giant robot vs giant monster movie could be so good, but then I saw it and woah. I really love it. It's just a really fun movie. I'd heard that they were thinking about making a second movie. A prequel about Stacker would be cool, but I'm also okay with Pacific Rim being a stand alone film.)

(My friend described it to me as Godzilla, Gundams, and Guillermo del Toro and I have never been wildly into any of those save one or two gundam-related series when I was younger but somehow I got dragged into seeing Pacific Rim and yeah! Woah. The world is well constructed and balances that world of approachable scifi pretty well. After all, the first attack is like in 2015 or something. My friends and I were looking for inconsistencies and the only thing that was weird was that 8 helicopters could carry 1,980 tons haha.)

(Yeah it was explained to me as very reminiscent of old school mecha anime. I was never that fond of mecha anime, but I trust my friend's judgment, and when she told me that it was the best movie she had seen in a long time, I was inclined to believe her. I think the world building in the movie is fantastic. Some of my favorite parts are when you go outside the shatterdome and into the bone slums and really get to see how the world is adapting and changing and how people are handling this whole Kaiju thing. If there ever was a sequel I wouldn't mind it being about some of the groups that turned up as a result of the kaiju attacks. Hannibal Chao mentioned that some people believed the Kaiju to be gods and worshiped them, I think that would be cool to hear more about. Also, The Russians. I think the Russians are so cool and I'm really sad they didn't have enough time to really flesh out all the side characters because I thought all the side characters were incredibly interesting! But the Russians were definitely my favorite.)
