Description A very high-ranking diplomatic emissary from the Vanrezhan Dynastic Empire and his retainer arrive on a Reclaimer Frontier Class world in the aims of settling an at least temporary ceasefire between the two factions during the 12th year of the Stratocracy-Ascendency War. The emissary identified himself to the Reclaimers present as Lord Consul Akrezi Denvazom the Seventh, Dynastic ruler of the 25th state of the Great Empire. He desired the ceasefire in order for the Reclaimers to be able to evacuate any remaining civilian presence from the next galaxy that they would attack, as well as to throw off enemy forces about the true nature or the Stratocracy, as no Reclaimer has ever seen a Stratocracy soldier's face or any of their skin.

Lord Consul Denvazom kept the presence of his delegation to himself, his retainer, three aids, and an escort of only 6 Stratocracy elite supersoldiers, who wore armor almost identical to that by regular troops except their more-powerful implements were morphically-hidden in their suits.

the Lord Consul invited the Reclaimer Ascendency to send in as many guards into the diplomatic area on standby as they wanted, while his own guards would stand outside the entrances of the chamber, televised across the Ascendency secretly via the Stratocracy's hacking systems. Once the delegates had all arrived, even a hologram presentation of one of the Ascendency's top governmental staff as a sign of seriousness to the negotiation.

Shortly after, the delegates and Vanrezhan aids had settled down to the formal negotiating table and were beginning to talk about the state of the war and the importance of the planned evacuation, the Vanrezhans keeping secret the reasons for their invasion but stressing that the Reclaimers WERE going to safely evacuate their civilians from the zones.

As soon as everything seemed like it was going smoothly, Lord Denvazom's retainer, Venlashar Tzerasukei, darted into action towards the aides on the table, slicing her arms through the air at supersonic speeds and cutting through two of the five slippsionic cloaked Reclaimer psion assassins sent in to disrupt the negotiations. The retainer, unarmed and not wearing armor that was rated for combat by Stratocracy standards but more in line with what the Reclaimers could liken to casual clothing, cut through two of the Ascendency's greatest and most-trained and skilled hyperlethal operatives, attacking and intercepting a third who was lunging at a delegate. Tzerasukei rolled herself under the psion (who still was invisible to the Reclaimers)and severed his left leg joints and antigrav generators, cutting her arm through one of his psionic amplifier vambraces and causing it to short out, leaving the left arm at half-power, before jumping onto him and phasing her legs and skirt to burn through the psion, erasing his psionic headdress apparatus, back unit and some of his rear abdomen plating and capacitors from the material universe and leaving his arms to drop lifelessly from his body, the psionic connection broken as to not let him telekinetically use them again. The retainer then flung her fan at the head of the assassin, it expanding and spliting said head in two. As for the other two, one of them was dispatched by Lord Consul Denvazom while he phusically choked the major Reclaimer governmental official, who was just a hologram not even made of hardlight and encrypted on every level known to man from multiple-broadcast locations. While he was doing this, he caused the assassin headed his way to cross a dimensional vexnet and be sliced into crisscrossing technically-still-joined sections and stretched across several hundred realities, and the psionic conciousness, or soul of the assassin was consumed by the Lord Consul. The last assassin was about to attack Tzerasukei from behind, but the three diplomatic aides projected gravimetric vortexes into the air, tearing apart the assassin invisibly and having his head fall straight into Tzerasukei's now-deactivated hand.

The Retainer psychically shattered the active slippsionic crystal keeping it invisible and revealed the distinctly-Ghibalban contours and elaborate psionic amplification headdress of Reclaimer agents, and the black, white, and red fanged diamond with an eye in it. The seal of ASP, successor to the infamous ONI of the ancient UNSC.

Thabks! I can see how that would look.
I primarily wanted to show the gap in technological power between the Vanrezhans (that's the name of her race) and the Ascendancy (the Forerunner-looking cyber-agents) by displaying an event where the some of the Ascendancy's greatest hyperhethal agents are dispatched by someone in the Vanrezhan equivalent of a maid getup. And when said getup is composed of light armor plating, it shows the difference in military preparedness and culture between the two.

It seems that Venlashar Tzerasukei is equivalent of Callidus Assassins, right?

Kind of. Tzerasukei can alter surface level details of herself for infiltration operations, such as hair and eyes color and skin tone, but not her size or shape. She needs a separate body for certain operations, like infiltrating human civilizations where the population has an average height of 6'something instead of 10'something.

Is this stuff from Halo or from your own story?

It's from my fanfic AU set in the Halo Universe whatever the Ancient Humans from the Forerunner Trilogy and Halo 4 terminals escaped their canonical destruction because in canon, the Forerunners focused in decapitating the Human Empire as quickly as possible and clothing their ships in Slipspace and attacking only strategic military worlds and installations, which shattered the cohesion of the Empire and left many human forces left with no way to help but not currently-atracked by Forerunners.

In my AU, before the Ecumene had finished Charum Hakkor and could swarm in and finish them off, these shattered human (and their allies like the San Shyuum who were stuck in those territories too, left to die when their Government surrendered to the Forerunners) forces packed up everything and everyone (at least their conciousnesses) they could cram on to every ship they had, and trapped the left in scorched Earth tactics to make the Ecumene think they self-destructed out of defiance rather than be captured, and also destroy any evidence of their departure, before high-tailing it to as far away from the Ecumene as possible, outside the Galaxy to hide, lick their wounds, rebuild and regrow, and to colonize enough of the outside universe to do 2 primary things: Overwhelm and overthrow the Ecumene; Envelop the Galaxy in forces to stop the Flood that might be out there; and to spread themselves across as much space as possible to increase their own probobility of survival.

The Vanrezhans are an OC species I made that were allies of the Precursors and in this AU, Humanity was made by the Precursors to resemble them as a sign of that alliance. They have fought many wars with the Forerunners and accompanied the Stratocracy (the descendants of those Human Empire Extragalactic Remnants) in their invasion of the Reclaimer Ascendancy, a future alternate timeline in a different universe where the Reclaimers (UNSC, UEG, colonies, etc) advanced and got the Absolute Record and stuff, developing for around 50,000 years, and the Precursor AI/Knowledge Engines that the Stratocracy has are telling them that the Recalai ers are at the point where they need to be tested for Worthiness to bear the Mantle Of Responsibility. The Vanrezhans, looking like humans and due to their history with the Precursors, joined the Stratocracy. That's why the Ascendancy and Vanrezhans ate in conflict.

ASP, which the cyber-agents that Tzerasukei is cutting down are employed by, is the Reclaimer Ascendancy's equivalent and successor-state to ONI. ASP stands for Association of Stability and Protection, though the Stratocracy gives them another "S" and labels them the "Association of Stable Supremacy and Protection.

All of the lore I made for the AU is in my journals.
Vanrezhans
Ascendancy
Stratocracy-Ascendancy war
weapons
And whatever else you might find interesting. Just go to the journals tab and I hope that you find something worthwhile.

YUSH. Another sweet action pose. Keep it up!

Also I gotta say I really like the muscle fiber detailing for the woman's arm.

HUEHA WHOMS WOULDA THOUGHT ANIME A N D HALO?????? then again, I do see a ton of anime Halo fanart. I do like this more because the woman is in practical, but stylish armor, and is not in some ......"sexy" situation WITH said armor. This is really cool, and I love the style, especially of the other patterns split elsewhere on the piece!

Now I have the urge to do fanart of this!

Thanks, man! I'm glad you like it. And on the armor, oh my friggin God yes! There are so many art piece is which are pinups or NSFW or stuff, but that have this one accessory which zi think I'd really cool, like a badass gaintlet or crown it helmet or parts of armor or a gun she's holding, and I'm only interested in that accessory or weapon. The armor IS the sexy part.
So thanks for thinking the armor looks both good and sensible. And plus, I just wanted to show the difference between the Vanrezhans and Stratocracy compared to the Reclaimers. The Vanrezhan equivalent of a maid is better than ASP's darkest, fastest, strongest, most-advanced sneaky supersoldiers. And if they go and broadcast it across all of Reclaimer space.

Was listening to Mother Mother's song 'Get out the way'. It felt perfect for imagining the lady cutting fools apart.
