The right is the Uniform worn if there are a Ceremony, like a National Ceremony, Flag Ceremony, Funeral, International Visit et cetera.

Do these officers correspond to civil laws, or do they uphold anything like Shariah law? Is there a distinction?

Very nice uniforms, by the way.

Regular Civil laws, indeed. Sharia law is unknown in Pakuningratan (^^).
They are your basic police of your basic country driving that basic Police "Ford Interceptor" cruisers and basic police Attitude.

(Come to think of it, I should make their Police Cruisers too). They are only closely modeled after the Indonesian and Indian Police with the Green from Tropico's Police officers.

Pakuningratan is a Colonial Nation of a Javanese Kingdom where there are more than Half of it's practices differing religions and even some of them are atheists. So, yeah... Despite their "Crescent Moon" iconotype. They are pretty plural... Like any Indo-Malay Nations.

And thank you for the Compliment, too (^^)
