I love this! It's wonderful! Subtle, but there's lots of character.

Have you seen the trailer for the new Dracula movie (Dracula Untold)? It actually looks pretty decent and judging from what they included in the preview, they've incorporated some integral real life Vlad Tepes history into the movie, so I'm very excited /Vlad history nerd. They got a British dude to play Mehmet, the Turkish sultan, he was at war with, though. Of all the people they could have chosen, you'd think they could have found a Turkish actor...

I'm both super excited because it looks like its incorporating real history true to the real life Vlad, but at the same time I'm scared they're gonna mess with the historical aspect of the story/legend.

I know, right? I've always wanted one that actually incorporated the historical side of the story, so we'll have to see how it turns out! I read a book a couple years back, called The Historian, and its literally all the historical fact about Vlad Tepes and the mythology so expertly written in. It's one of my favourite books, so very long at about 900 pages, but its so achingly good. The film rights were recently bought by Sony (who I don't much like as a production studio) so I'm very afraid. How do you adapt a 900 page book into a movie? You kinda don't.
