Description
Left and right horsemen's kit is reconstructed from fresco fragments at Zemen monastery, Bulgaria, depicting high medieval warrior saints. Center knight is wearing a houndskull find at Tsarevets, and some 14th century plate. A nice resultant mixing of eastern rome and high medieval europe.
The lack of archeological evidence here makes peeking into this area of history all the more interesting, Romey knights
