Description
I meant to go for a photo mission to the beach today, but I couldn't be arsed. So I just took a bunch of photos of my cat (all of which sucked) and the agapanthuseseses growing around the property (all except one of which sucked) then dicked around with Darktable and GIMP for a while.

Most of the editing here was done in Darktable, with further tweakage done in GIMP, including the wonderful Mantiuk '06 tone mapping, which I love more than you can possibly imagine.

Also, here's a shoutout to Mr Harry Durgin, whose YouTube videos showed me how to use the high pass and low pass filters in Darktable.
