Last Night has brought it to the Ducky's attention that we should have heard about Disney's release date of Volume 3 of Darkwing Duck!! And according to Disney has already released their August DVDs. So, it does appear that Darkwing Duck and his loyal fans are, well getting shafted, right in the tail feathers. I drew this piccie for and hopefully this will brighten her day a wee bit.Well, all hope is not lost and Disney did come out and say that they cancelled the release of Tail Spin, but they went ahead and released it anyway at a later date. So hopefully the geniouses at Disney will go ahead and release Darkwing Duck at a later date as well.

I think I should have drawn Darkwing's footsies a wee bigger, and I must say that although his hands don't look perfect, I was able to draw them without the aid of many screen grabs. I used Mickey Mouse Hand Model Guide which was a huge help. All the Ducky needs now is practice!!! Darkwing Duck is the copyright of Disney---but we the fans should take him over

Obviously there`s been a demand for Darkwing, both Walmarts where I live re-released season 1, and two, and put them inthe front row in the popular title section. and they said they`re already having trouble keeping it stocked Think walmart should send a message to Disney about how well season 1, and 2 are selling. maybe then they`ll finaly release season 3.

I`d think it would be, they added in quite a few scenes that were deleted from the TV aired episodes. just wish they put the full extended version of Darkly Dawns the Duck on the DVDs.

I really pray that they release the 3rd Volume as well and including the infamous Hot Spells episode!!! Personally, I saw nothing wrong with that eppisode!! IT was great!!! They banned it because it had the devil?????? That's ridiculous!!! Warner Brothers didn't ban Hot, Bothered and Bedeviled!!!! Disney is whimps!!!!!!!

Awesome picture Negs! And it expresses my feelings exactly. I have no problem with Disney branching out ~ High School Musical, That's so Raven, whatever ~ but really, what about us fans that have been with them since the early 90's? Or even before?

Yeah....I'm still a little bit angry that Disney is giving Darkwing Duck the shaft up the tail feathers.....when it comes to releasing series DVD's such as Hanna Montana, Cory in the house or even That's so Raven, they are quick to bring out the next volume in the series...but when it comes to old shows like Darkwing, Chip & Dale, Tail Spin or Duck Tales....no such luck.
Us fans have to wait a year or hold our breath in hopes we would suffocate and die which isn't fair!!!
Disney right now is selling crap.....that's what it is!!!

I so totally agree with your comment. Disney is NOT listening to us who love Disney for what is is about in the first place....Mickey and all his gang! Now it's ALL ABOUT High School Musical, Hannah, Raven and the other teeny-type stuff Disney is forcing down our throats. I also say "sorry" to those who are the fans of these shows, but come on! All the kids in a school who can sing and dance and are uber-cute? If that were so, let me teach there!!!!!

Yuppers!! The Ducky so agrees with both you and Personally, I don't mind Disney devoting the Disney channel to those shows, and obviously they have an audience, so why not? But in so doing, they are leaving the fans who love the classic Disney animation totally high and dry, which is a huge mistake on their part. All this teeny bopper stuff is just a passing fad, where in a couple of years, shows like Hannah Montana and High School will be a mere faded memory. Now, shows like Darkwing Duck, Tale Spin, and even Animaniacs and Tiny Toons have built such a fan base through the years, and those shows are as still as popular today as they were when they were first on. I mean look at us, here we are still watching the Warner Sibs and Darkwing Duck, drawing pictures, writing stories, creating clubs, and what not, and the series are at least 15 years old!! Now I would like to see where Hannah Montana will be in 15 years!! So, I don't have a problem with Disney pacifying the fans of the Hannah Montana show, but Disney shoud realize that they have to satisfy the needs of their long time fans as well. And I hope that Warner Brothers releases the final volume of Animaniacs!! I really enjoy watching me Animaniacs DVDs!!

You said a mouthful Ducky! In fifteen years? It will be Hannah WHO? And I was talking with someone about Raven....She looks TOO old to still be doing shows for young teens on the Disney Channel. She really needs to move on...I personally think that if she did, she would not be as successful. Maybe one day, Disney might do something like Cartoon Network did, create a Boomerang type network which only shows old Disney cartoons, Wonderful World of Color, Darkwing, House of Mouse, etc. Wouldn't that be cool! I am keeping my fingers crossed that Animanaics 4 will be released!!! Btw, is House of Mouse on DVD? If it is, then I really missed that one...
