I grew up on Sentai or Tokusatsu.I was a fan before saban bastardized it. My favorite was a show called "Dairanger". Even though the show was japanese,this show was rooted in chinese mystecism and the heroes did Kung-fu. There was even a ranger who did Drunkenstyle. Anyway I hope to one day have somthing to do with a film paying homage to or retelling their story in my crazy fashion. Here's my version of their leader. If you want to compair check out japanhero.com.My version is more Monk-style with the full pants and armor. I'm not big on tights.

Saban evicerated the Sentai's martil arts. A revamp of MMPR should factor those styles in.

I saw the Dairanger clips that were spliced into Power Rangers, and I always knew there was something more going on there. It wasn't until recently that I actually came to find out what that was, when Dairanger episodes appeared on YouTube. I can't understand a lick of the Japanese dialogue, seeing as how I know only English and really bad Spanish, but even so, I think it's a better show that PR ever was.

This Dragon Ranger is my own design and character.
I figured I'd kinda do my own take on these guys but keep it more aligned with the original as far as the overall feel.

I love sentai also but, I love the potential it has if taken in the right direction. Like with revamps and "elseworld-ish" versions.
