[=] Serious, responsible, hopeful, loyal and strong
[-] Fearful, anxious and vengeful
Susan is a snarky, stubborn, and slightly spoiled girl. She likes making inappropriate jokes and taunting her enemies in battle, while making quick quips and throwing shade at her friends. Good-natured at her core, Susan can often come off as mean or “too much” to people she first meets. Even with all her quirks, Susan is a tough, loyal, and responsible teammate and friend, who’s not easily intimidated. Naturally strong willed and dedicated, she makes a great leader and mentor; tough with teaching and lessons, but fair with truths and never one to sugar coat. Once reckless and impulsive as a child, she’s grown from her past and shaped herself into an admirable woman, whom many younger teammates look up to.
Underneath her skin lies a slightly stressed and paranoid girl, who sometimes wants nothing more than to lock herself in her room and avoid danger. She puts on a brave face for others, but is often plagued by the fear of becoming too much like her father, knowing that once she crosses that line, there’s no going back. This causes Susan to often forego risks in favor of safe and cautious plays, which is her biggest flaw as team leader. She knows she’s someone who others look up too, but secretly fears letting everyone down.

Applications/Techniques:
- Hydrokinesis: Her abilities manifested at the age of 8 years old and she was trained formally for Bethany until she was 11 years old but Susan became proficient, creative, and resourceful enough to manipulate and extract water from grass, flowers, and even trees to fuel her bending in combat or for other purposes. Making her a formidable opponent despite a young age. Subsequently trained formally in the art for over a decade by Mera, Susan has demonstrated a high level of skill in this art in addition to its various techniques. She is capable of creating powerful water whips, and water waves strong enough to push back . She can also launch herself high into the air and maintain the height on a gigantic waterspout easily, fight off several aerial attacks with various water attacks, and propel herself plus another person through the water at high-speeds to avoid attacks
- Cryokinesis (subpower): Susan became capable of bending large ice boulders, Sending massive columns of ice flying, or forming ice armor around her body for protection as one of her last resorts. Sometimes in battles against opponents like Captain Cold, Killer Frost or Mr Freeze redirect it, turning it into water and sending it back as an ice blast. She can also tear through a large, thick ice wall obstructing her path.
- Breath underwater: Much like some orcinus atlanteans and half orcinus, Susan can breath underwater without problem and spend there limitless amounts of time.
- Temperature resilience: Susan can resist to low temperatures and the effects of freezing however she cant deal with high temperatures
- Durability: Dense flesh, although not invulnerable
- Enhanced strength: Not at the same level of a full orcinus atlantean but she has her own level of strength thanks to her training and from her genetics. It can be enhanced from using an ice fist
- Enhanced speed: This can be possible from using hydrokinesis as a propulsor or any other method
ARSENAL
Dry-ice bombs: These produce vapor and work as “smoke-bombs”
Ice darts: These are created out of water and can be use as darts
Water whips: produce with water and use them as a strong method of defense and offense
Retractable Trident: Forged by atlanteans, these trident its easy to transport as it retracts to the size of a sword-hilt and it can expand to the size of a normal trident. The trident its resilient despite the design.

HISTORY: Susan was the result of an extramarital affair between two criminals: Bethany Frost and Slade Wilson. When Bethany found out she was pregnant she left the relationship as she realized that the life she had, was no way to raise a child. That coupled with the fact that Slade wasn’t a good father was enough to force Bethany into hiding to escape her past and try and have a new life as a mother. Starting over in the small town of Affton, Alaska, Bethany welcomed a baby girl she named Susan into the world. She showered her daughter with praise and attention, wanting to give her the life she never had while also being a very over protective mother. Because of this influence, Susan grew up to be a bit of a wild child and would cause trouble in her small town but everything she did was harmless, mainly pranks and sneaking out, and it never seemed to escalate to anything illegal or violent, which relieved Beth. What Susan didn’t know was that her parents were both mercenaries who had both killed in their past, and her mother was paranoid that a violent side would show up in Susan or that someone tried to take away her daughter. Homeschooled for her entire childhood, Bethany taught Susan all about her culture and where she came from. The stories about Atlantis and her people, and the amazing powers she will soon have excited Susan to no end, and would try to move water everyday. Her mother even had a dream to create a map to Atlantis using her grandmother's old notes, which obviously was shared by Susan. For years Susan was itching to get her powers, and when that day finally came, she couldn’t wait to get started.
At age 9, Susan manifested her powers and was excited to finally start training. Bethany, being the over protective mother she was, started her daughters training off slowly and cautiously, but this bored Susan to death. She was nothing but impatient as she has waited years for this. Bethany could see the desire to train in her daughter, and tried her best to train her daughter at a faster pace but Susan showed signs of weaker physical abilities than normal. This was obviously because the latter was only half Orcinus, but Susan ignored this fact and constantly challenged and begged her mother to pick up the pace and be tougher on her. After a close call with someone she mistook for an enemy of her past, Bethany she finally let go of her leash on her daughter and trained her as hard as her mother trained her because of the fear that her daughter wouldn’t be able to protect herself if something were to happen to her, she did what Susan wanted and pushed harder and harder. At first Susan wasn't able to keep up because it was such a quick change of pace, but got the hang of it after realizing she should use her powers smarter and not harder, unlike her mother.
When Susan was 11, her mother shared exciting news with her: a rough draft of a map to Atlantis had finally been completed! Overjoyed with this news, Susan immediately started asking questions about when they were going to go, how long the journey was going to take, etc., but Beth had to break some bad news to Susan: Sue wasn’t going with her. Obviously this angered the 11 year old, who wanted to know why. Beth told her that because this was a rough draft, she had to scout out the way herself and make adjustments in case her map was wrong. It was too dangerous and there was no way Beth was going to put her daughter in danger. Susan threw a tantrum following this news, who wanted nothing more than to go to Atlantis and stormed off to her room. Beth was torn between her lifelong dream of going to Atlantis and making her daughter happy, and decided to mull it over for a couple days. She hid that map in a secret compartment in her work room and went to start dinner. Unfortunately for her, Beth would never get the chance to choose as her life would soon take a turn for the worst.
When Beth was a mercenary, she made plenty of enemies, and she knew it was only a matter of time before one caught up to her. Just hours after the map fight, Beth and Susan were ambushed by police at their dinner table. Beth at first wanted to fight back to protect her daughter, but remembered that she didn’t want Susan to know about her past, so she went with the police quietly and without conflict. Poor Susan was traumatized at the sight of her mother being arrested for what she believed was nothing, and could only cry for answers and her mother as she was taken away.
Confused by the events, and guilty that it happened right after a fight, Susan was in shock for most of the night afterwards. When a social worker arrived to take care of the girl, she was asked to go pack her things in anticipation of heading into foster care. Silently she gathered her things, but couldn’t part without grabbing something from her mothers workroom as something to remember her by but this was a lie to the social worker, as she really went in there to check the secret compartment (which Susan had actually known about for years) for the map to Atlantis. Relieved she found it, she packed it and left her house.
She was put into foster care like she was told, Susan absolutely hated it there, the other kids were mean and the foster parents were neglectful and the fact of being homeschooled most of her life meant she didn’t have a lot of social skills, especially around other kids so it was hard for her to connect with any of them. She did try at first but the circumstances were not good and she found herself isolating herself more often than not, just wanting to get away from everything and after a year Susan finally gathered up the courage to leave and head to Atlantis. While reading over the map for the thousandth time, one of her foster brothers stole it out of her hand. That map was one of a kind so Sue didn’t take this well, she yelled at the boy to give it back but the child just taunted and mocked her. In a sudden angry outburst, Susan accidentally froze the boy’s hands, making him drop the map but also scream in pain. The parents rushed up to the room to see what was happening, and looked in horror as they saw both of their child’s hands encased in ice. Susan tried to apologize saying she didn´t mean to but she was scared for her life, Susan grabbed the map and her bag and fled out the window, running and not looking back.
Using what her mother taught her about map reading and star tracking, Susan stowed her way on ships for most of the journey, stealing food from the workers and when she was docked on land. When she was unable to travel by ship anymore, she dove in and continued through the water. Reading the now laminated map, Susan did the best she could, but was never able to find Atlantis, due to the, unknown to her, magical charm placed upon it to hide it from surface dwellers. She had spent days looking, and was pretty much on the verge of giving up, when she just so happened among a rogue group of what seemed like Atlanten soldiers. Obviously conceded by the sudden find, but more excited she had found something, followed them hoping to find her destination. Almost immediately after Susan started to follow them, they caught her, but she soon found out these weren’t Atlantean soldiers, but rather rogue soldiers of Ocean Master, arch enemy to Aquaman. They immediately assumed she was a spy sent by Aquaman, and proceeded to attack her, the soldiers were good but she managed to hold her own until she was injured by a spear to the leg, only to be saved by a school of sharks that attacked the men. As if it were a miracle, Aquaman and Aqualad had shown up in the knick of time and saved her life. Desperate to save the girl, they took her back to Atlantis to get medical help because of passing out from the pain and exhaustion of the trip, Susan never found out how she got there, and later woke up on a rock being healed by magic. After talking with the healers, they found out she was an Orcinus and immediately went to report this to the king and queen. As Mera was the only one at the palace at the time, she went to go talk to the child. Through her conversation with Mera, Susan found out a lot about her people, the Orcinus are a species of underwater beings that were closely related to Atlanteans but lacked magical abilities but were instead gifted with the ability to control water, and in some cases ice. They were a small group and lived inside the Atlantean kingdom, but more and more eventually left the city due to being outcast for having no magical gifts by the Atlanteans of the past. They were spread thin as most went to live among surface dwellers as they felt more comfortable there so the Atlanteans saw less and less of them until none remained in the city at all. Mera believed they had all lived on cold regions of the surface away from atlantean contact until news of Susan came to her.
Taken back by all of this sudden information, the only thing Susan could ask was if she could stay in the city. She knew she had no magical abilities, but there was nothing left on the surface for her: no family or friends, and spent weeks of her life searching endlessly for this city. She was tired and hungry, and just wanted a place to call home again. Susan’s story pulled on the Queen’s heart strings, and Mera agreed to allow Susan to stay in Atlantis, and even better, to stay with her. Slightly jealous of her husband’s adventures with his own protege, Mera was curious about the idea of having her own, and Susan seemed like a perfect fit. Overjoyed with this news, Susan felt like she had a home once again.
For years she trained with Mera in water combat and spear fighting, learning quickly through her teachings, but was never able to teach Susan how to socialize or work with others. Aquaman had suggested she could work on the Justice Leagues covert ops team with his protege, but Mera always said no, thinking she wasn’t ready but truth be told she had grown fond of the girl, thinking of her like a daughter. She was lonely when her husband was away on missions with the league and Susan’s training not only gave her something to do, but it filled a hole in the queen's heart seeing Susan grow from a meek girl into a confident fighter. On Susan’s 16th birthday, Mera introduced her to the Team, and told her she would be spending a lot of time with them to improve her fighting and her social skills but Susan hated the idea and didn’t want this because she hated being thrown into these types of environments. Mera had assured her it was nothing like the foster home, and urged her to just give it a try. Susan trusted Mera, and thought it might not be all bad since Tula and Kaldur were on it, so she joined the Team and adopted the hero name: Aquos.
Turned out that putting her on the Team was a great decision as members like Nightwing, Miss Martian, and Kid Flash were able to quickly befriend her and pull her out of her shell. She gained confidence and made friendships and her life as a hero really took a turn for the best. She felt like an entirely new and improved version of her old self, and couldn’t even remember how she used to be. One member of the Team in particular she bonded with was the second Robin, both did not counted with care of their parents for different circumstances, Jason because his father was a drug dealer and his mother a drug addict while Susan had a normal childhood until her mother was arrested and she had no father or relative to look after her so when there were situations that made them snap in either anger, sadness or frustration one of them was there to hear the other and console. While Jason funneled his issues through anger and fighting crime Susan did it with quirkiness and sassiness which complemented them, even looking for other ways to get over some issues. Their friendship was solid and they developed deeper feelings as they spent more and more time together, and eventually he even broke the rules and revealed his secret identity to her. Susan would show Jason things he missed in his childhood, and Jason helped Susan adapt to high school life as she was enrolled in “surface school” after she permanently joined the Team, with time they soon realized they were in love with each other but knowing that he won't be able to find the words to say how he feels he takes a leap of faith and dives in to give her a kiss right on the lips. When Susan was 17, she was on a normal mission with the Team, and found themselves fighting the Injustice League and somehow Aquos was isolated with Deathstroke and had to fight him until the other members of her team could reach her, she kept him at bay as best she could, using ranged attacks as she knew she would easily be defeated in close combat, she wasn't that good on close combat (At least yet) . While dodging one of his shurikens, Aquos mistepped and it hit her in the head, knocking her mask off. When she got up, Deathstroke stopped in his tracks before asking “Bethany?” as Susan had grown up to look just like her mother. Shocked and angered by him saying her mothers name, demanding to know why he said it. This actually caused him to pause what he was doing as he realized, out loud, “so that’s why she left me” there were tears forming in her eyes as that wasn’t the answer she wanted to hear, proceeded to launch herself at him, blinded by anger in the moment. Slade realized now she was his daughter, so instead of killing her, he deflected her attack and threw her away from him, knocking her out, when she came to he was gone and Jason was holding her, asking if she was ok and why she was crying, and honestly…she didn’t know.
For the next few weeks, Susan was different, she rarely went on missions and was distant from her friends and Jason. Concerned for her and her mental state, Jason asked to know what was wrong and to talk to him, but Susan just shrugged him off. He got so fed up that he actually cornered her and pleaded that she tell him what was wrong. Through tears in her eyes, she could only mumble out that she thought Deathstroke was her father. Jason would’ve never guessed this is what she would say, but held her anyway as she cried into his chest, unsure of who she was anymore, Jason comforted her by saying that their parents took their paths but that she had all her life to make her own path, they hugged and kissed and their relationship only continued to bloom more and more but things took a radical change with the death of Jason at the hands of the Joker (Also that Jason´s real mother threw him under the bus), Susan felt anger and wanted revenge but she was still dealing with her own existential crisis so she visited her mother in Belle Reve and asked who Deathstroke really was and if he was her father. Beth knew this day would come and decided she needed to confess everything to her daughter; every detail of her life, from her time as a mercenary, to Slade having an affair with her, to her leaving him with little to no explanation. Stunned by this revelation that she’s the daughter of two killers, Susan left her mother and didn’t even let her explain anything else, for a time she was a trainwreck: the revelation and the death of Jason mixed with a lot of memories from the past were taking her a path of pain, anger, sadness that took a boiling point on a mission to stop members of the Injustice League, among them the Joker and she almost managed to kill the clown prince of crime however she was trapped by the reach and their new sciencefist: Dr Shock (oc of ) who wanted to explore the genes of Susan to recreate the powers and give them to normal humans and make killing machines but he was stopped by Nightwing, Wonder Girl and Batgirl, after that mission Susan left the team and moved back to Atlantis, refusing to speak to anyone, getting scolded took a toll on her and she eventually was back to feeling depressed. Heartbroken for the child she raised, Mera could only try to get Susan to talk or come out of her room. Enough prodding worked and Susan finally opened the door, allowing Mera inside and she spilled everything to Mera as she was the last person Susan truly trusted. Mera told her she needed to visit her mother for closure and to repair their relationship, but Susan refused as she couldn’t look her birth mother in the face anymore, however the Queen told her that she had a good heart and was nothing like her parents. that she had gone through terrible times and allowed herself to be angry but Susan never let it completely control her which made her different from them and it was because of them she was a better person and should be thankful for that she was touched by Mera’s words, and trusting her once again, Susan frequently visited her mother to clear the air, and start to rebuild their relationship.
With help from Mera, her mother, her friends, and Black Canary’s counseling, Susan slowly climbed up from rock bottom and was showing more of that once outgoing and snarky girl she grew up to be, her life was starting to go back to her tracks, she also accepted and move on from Jason´s death but she still loved him and missed him.
When she was 19 she moved on from being Mera’s protege and bodyguard to to attend school in Happy Harbor while also being part time hero. Mera was sad to see her leave the nest, but was glad to see that Susan had grown from her pain. She graduated high school and started to take classes on Marine Biology at a local community college in hopes of one day to be able to attend a major university while she also took up surfing, and even adopted the Wilson name as a middle finger to her father. She eventually rejoined the team when Nightwing needed her help with the metas and also with a matter regarding a Red Hooded Ninja that appeared on Infinity Island, she needed answers and wanted to help the newbees, donning a brand new suit and going back her hero life that she loved
