All I know of Man-Thign is that Howard the Duck first appeared there, as for Howard I only know about some regular comics he starred. The other two, I just know them because of the movie

Rocket had a limited series in the eighties and Groot was on old old Marvel monster who came from Planet X!Β

-Batman Year One (In case you wonder, I didn't like that much his other Batman story)
-Batman the Mike W. Barr and Alan Davis run
-Batman: the ten nights of the beast
-Batman: Blind Justice
-the first half of Alan Grant and Norm Breyfogle's run on Batman
-Batman vs the Wrath
-X-men Claremont Byrne and some issues with John Romita Jr.
-The X-men crossover with Alpha Flight: The Asgardian wars
-X-men: God loves, man kills
-Wolverine from Chris Claremont and Frank Miller
-The Watchmen
-Daredevil Frank Miller's run
-Daredevil Born Again
-Alan Moore's stories of Batman and Superman (except the one with Swamp Thing, I didn't like it)
- Fantastic Four, the John Byrne's run (though I didn't like how SPOILER ALERT: Byrne resurected Jean Grey END OF SPOILER)
-Amazing Spiderman of Roger Stern and John Romita Jr. (So far I only read 5 issues, but boy they were pretty damn good)
-the Spectacular Spiderman: The death of Jean Dewolfe
-Spider-man vs Venom in their first encounter
-West Coast Avengers: Lost in the space time (thought I liked the rest of the first run, that story was the highlight)
-Wonder Woman by Marv Wolfman and George PΓ©rez
