I preferred the original too. I think she would have looked MORE alien and less cartoony if they had made the CG version like the original.

Yeah. I did just find a fan-made thing on Youtube where they used the original song with the CG footage. It worked quite well.

The only 2 bands in the Star Wars universe! I tried to remember if there's any in the newer films, but I don't think there is!

That's a good question. I will have to search. I know there have to be others in the universe somewhere. I thought about putting the additional members of the Rebo Band in their own little band. Maybe they just meshed well with Sy & the guys and that's why they were all together in the special editions.

There's the horn playing Gungans celebrating the end of Episode 1, and the Ewoks in ROTJ, but they're not really proper bands. Umm, I can't remember ANY other musical performers! Gap in the market right there!
