Β Sparky, Chubbles and Scalpel are funking rad, I would legit watch their movies and every respective sequel. Vera looks like something out of my worst nightmares and I mean that in every positive way possible. What exactly is her story? Do any of your slashers have backstories yet?

Dude, yes!Β I have stories upon stories for lots of my characters.Β I just have them in my brain filing cabinet!Β Β Sorry for the late reply, the holidays were rough!Β
Vera?Β She was a female bodybuilder/model.Β She worked hard for her physique and status.Β In classic 80's cliche style, she was horribly disfigured in a weightroom accident.Β She came back to seek revenge in the same bikini she was buried in.Β
I highly appreciate your endorsement!Β I would sell my other characters thusly...
Maneater...she is an obsessive ex.Β She eventually skins herself and wears the skin of her previous beaux.Β
Griller Killer was killer by a group of yuppie douchebag neighbors at a neighborhood barbecue.Β He was killed and grilled for his recent decision to refuse to sign over his property for a generous offer to buy the land.Β He comes back to eradicate the yuppie scum.
Morris Bluelevel was a construction worker killed by corporate construction company greed!
Schanmaske...my only suggestion is to google the word.

So, is Sparky like the Firefighter equivalent of Maniac Cop?

Cubbels is what hippos would look like if life on this planet would have been fashioned by the burning hands of fallen angels. I love him.

Here's my story for: Griller Killer
A family moves into a house that was renovated after a fire during the early 1990s. During that time, the older brother and younger sister find an old vsh tape in the basement. And when they play it, they see a normal family barbaque, but it turns into a snuff film when the father falls flat on the grill and sets the place on fire. Soon enough, they start seeing the dead father in random places, and the brother keeps calling him Griller Killer. Now the siblings need to bury the tape in the backyard before Griller Killer does something worse than death to them!

It makes sense that Chubbles wears a hippo costume. Hippos are actually more dangerous than one would think!

I was on a rant the other day about character design and why I get so annoyed with concept artists these days. It's just so boring. When they draw a zombie, it's either a: skinny white guy white collar worker zombie b: hot chick zombie or c: popular franchise + zombie. Then my very good friend Lordwormm posts and I am happy. A++ this whole series reminds me of the random people ghosts from the Ghostbusters toy line. Steeped in classic horror tropes with blue collar themes and a touch of surreal zaniness. Perfect.

I really appreciate that, thank you!
I was going for originality involving professions, holidays and weapons that haven't been touched in the slasher genre.
Just like any wrestler or Supervillain the most memorable ones seem to have a gimmick.

Well, except maybe Cubbles. The kids love him.

I have an idea for Sparky: When he was a child he was often neglected and abused by his pyromaniacal parents, and nicknamed "Sparky" by fellow classmates. When he grew up, he decided to choose fireman as a career. But one fateful day a group of teenagers pulled a cruel prank on him: They prank-called and said that their house was on fire. But the prank went horribly wrong and it started a real fire.
