It's deserving in every sense of the word

I can already see the following:

The Emperor having samples of Khan's DNA taken to enhance the stormtroopers

Scotty stating what a mess the Falcon is (much to Han's dismay); heck, the Falcon would probably fit in the Enterprise's shuttle bay

Spock finding the Force to be "most illogical"

The only issue I can see is that the plot would have to be just right, or we'd get a fan war that makes the video below look tame

It does sound ideal since they're the biggest sci-fi franchises around and Marvel always has a way with getting the biggest of the big, whether it is financial or otherwise. Marvel worked with Paramount Studios in the past, even making comic books based on them.
