She had been coming here every night, her parents still unaware of her nightly ventures. And even after all her visits, it had never tried to harm her. It would just silently emerge from the depths and be there, waiting for her to come. It might have even been as curious about her as she was about it. She took her usual spot on the dock, sitting and lowering her legs toward the water. After only moments of waiting, the creature emerged as he always did. Water dripped down the it's neck as it rose from the water, its tentacles emerging soon after. It started splashing water around almost playfully, spraying her legs and front with mist. She giggled a little as she felt the cold touch of the water. It looked right at her, or at least she assumed it was looking at her given the fact that it appeared to have no eyes. Never before had she touched the beast. She had almost a longing...a need to feel the tip of its wet nose. So she reached out...
