I believe the white part should be a little yellowish, I think it's a little too white, but other than that I really like the idea of a golden apple that's rotten inside

Thanks! Yeah, you might be right about that color. At that point I decided to make it white for the contrast reasons, but yellowish could have been a little more suitable.
