Little something, fantasy themed. Today I got a request from a friend and so I've made it my #Inktober . ^^
The request was to draw a dragon different from the ones you usually see in movies and stuff, one that could look like a Triceratops maybe, with a nice crown of horns. So I drew it.
It was really fun to come up with a different design. Also, I added a magician/mage there.
I really like dragons, thought usually they are really stereotyped.

I like fantasy in general, but maybe the realistic one is more for me. But anyway, I like these things because usually they originate from myth and folklore. Also, dragons are pretty cool.

I LOVE dragons - especially the ones that are apart from the "normal" design. And intelligence is a great plus.
So - I really like yours! It looks soooo heavy that I doubt it can fly long, but it looks also highly armoured and peaceful. Maybe it is vegetarian? Then there is no need to fly everywhere around
When I was a child, I came up with a bunch of dragons that where just serpents with wings, most because I could not draw legs this time

Yeah I like dragons that diverge from the usual canons too. In fact, I had so much fun with this one that I might keep on experimenting with some designs in the future. The best thing is when dragons are sentient and intelligent, I don't quite like feral dragons.
I think this dragon might be a rather peaceful spieces, and yes, I don't think they could fly that far, they sure are heavy. xD
I think there's a specific species name for those dragons, but I can't quite recall it. They're similiar to vyverns but they're not called that way. Oh well. xP

good work, but I prefer dragons as race either just beasts. as beasts they are good when they have good owner and bad when they have evil owners or when they wanna eat and their owners have too small or nothing to feed their so-called pet.
when they are as humans or even more intellegent, they are great. no matter if they are good ones or evil.Β

Well, I have not stated that this dragon is just a beast rather than a race of its own. It could be sentient as well as not. ^^

i see. well if it is a race member then it is enough to just talk like "Hey, Mister/Miss Dragon! I am human, lesser than you, but I know you, dragons, are like us, right? Glad to see you, you are so handsome Mister/Lady ETC". If he/she is evil human may be killed, but if good he/she will respond if he/she is not too ignorant:3

Yeah I think this dragon could be something like that. The dragon and the mage could be friends, maybe.
Also, I think they could be of the good kind, since this is a peaceful scene, so no killing involved. XD

well yeah. And also if dragon is good one, he/she mustn't be innocent cute guy/girl, we have a lot of kind-hearted dragons whom we love for their epicnessΒ
