So cute. Reminds me of an episode of the original cartoon where Mikey had a pet pigeon that came out of nowhere and he made it wear an orange mask. He needed to learn to let it go...

This is so simple, yet so touching. You really capture Mikey's innocence in this drawing. It's so, precious.

When he's alone, he's a whole different person... It's like he's wearing a mask of happiness and fun to hide his true self filled with sadness and depresion

I never saw it as depression exactly. I grew up with ADHD, and always saw similarities in Michelangelo's personality and my own. He was always my favorite because of that. One of the worst parts about living with ADHD is how behaviors you can't control effect how people perceive you over all. You can be loud, impulsive, and easily excited (sound familiar?). Any way, people often assume that because of those behaviors People with ADHD are a little touched in the head, or worse stupid. I am many things, stupid not being among them. It's the most frustrating, and hurtful thing, and that same thing happens to Michelangelo, even from his own brothers.
It was always head canon for me that Mikey had ADHD, and this other side was him screaming for someone to notice that he wasn't stupid.

Finally someone gets it. Everyone hate on Mikey in this new version cause he acts....well "stupid" When i just think he acts like an ADHD person would. I have ADHD and i act like how he acts, but when im alone im totally different, I always knew Mikey wasnt stupid. He's just misunderstood.
