yah for dcmetro, another wonderful capture of it, i love the warm glow of the train, but teh ceiling is flat and uninteresting in this one unfortunatly, needs sharpness, defintion, depth

Beautiful work. I love how you used the reflection of light cast by the train to break up the ceiling into segments. The way the train blurs as it bullets past is great, becaue it's not so long of an exposure that the end, which had just entered, got blurred. I love the one tiny bit of clarity, in which you can see through the train window. Otherwise, it looks like a stripe of fire. It's really composed wonderfully, broken in half between the train and the platform. If that woman werent walking there, the continued perspective down the tunnel, led by the warning lights at the edge of the platform, towards the exit with the train bursting through would have been beautiful, but i guess that some things just cant be planned for.
This really embodies what i love about urban life. Even in the gloomy, sad feeling created by the tones, it's beauty and fragility shine through. Theres a certain chaos about cities that makes them seem fragile, and this really shows it. All the hustle and bustle of people coming home. The low choice of angle just accentuates the modern beauty of the ceiling so much more. I love how the subwaytrain and the tube mesh to form this picture, it's like they're one object. There is a certain sterile beauty to the metro. Wow, i really love it.

Wow, everything about this is amazing. I love how the motion and stillness is both boldy captured and how the light drastically vaires (yellow light inside train; green hue outside). I love the ceiling, and I think it's rather odd how it's two different hues, but I suppose that is the sunlight. It makes this photograph even more intrguing and lovely. I like how you also kept the person in, walking away, almost merging in with the train. Just lovely.
