There's only one thing i'd like to point out: i think, in my personal opinion, the buns are too low, i'd put them at least a couple of inches more aligned with the top of your head and you're missing the cute little piece of hair(the bang) she has tilted to the right side of her face. ^^
Aside from that, im glad you didnt choose tafeta to make the dress like i've seen sooooo many other cosplayers do and the golden hems are just so well made, and im loving what you did with the sleeves. I wish i could see the rest of the dress!!!
I dont mean to sound like an ass-kisser but i am a person who is very hard to please and i want to say that YOU are one of the best Chun-Li cosplayer i have seen to date, kuddos!

I understand, we have really hot weather here too in Portugal and most of the times i dont even cosplay in the summer because of the costume/wig/accessories/etc... I dont like wigs myself, to be honest.
Ooooh, long hair! *o* I wish...
Once i had something like this happen to me but it was much worse because i went to the hair dresser that morning to get my hair done for a Yuna cosplay and i ended up looking like i had darth Vader's helmet shaped on my head!!!! I had to wash my hair and style it myself, i lost an hour just for that! Needless to say i never went back there...
