Description
Original handmade drawing based on my original artwork "put a smile upon your face".This one is a commission for a great fan of Bianca Beauchamp.
He wanted to buy the original one but i told him that i can´t sell this piece, because it´s one of my all time favorites and inalienable for me.
And so i did it again...
The first time i draw the same picture twice and i can´t decide which one looks better.
- soft pastel chalk,pastel pencils,charcoal and ink
- heavyweight illustration board
- original size 50 x 70 cm / 22" x 30"
- estimated time about 40 hours

This is one of my all time favorites from you too. I just love everything about it....from the latex which I always thought was such a challenge to do, to the face which is stunning. Love the colors. It definitelly took courage to draw this again and seing how similar the drawings are just makes me say again what an amazing artist you are

Mir gefällt hier das Latex besser muss ich sagen, aber an sich sind beide einfach Meisterwerke!
Kann mir schon vorstellen, dass das schwierig ist sich nun von einem zu trennen...

This is very courageous of you to have drawn this twice!
I think I prefer her latex outfit here - looks really awesome - but her face looks a bit better on the other version (the skin color looks more natural and her mouth more detailed)... but I just can't believe how similar both versions look in general.

Kenne zwar die andere Version nicht aber es gefaelllt mir sehr gut. Das Latex hast du erstklassig hinbekommen und das Gesicht und das Lachen ist umwerfend schoen. Werde spaeter mal einen Blick auf das andere werfen

Ich hab jetzt beide Versionen mal verglichen. Hier gefällt mir das Latex besser, dafür find ich beim anderen das Gesicht schöner, weil die Farben freundlicher wirken. Aber einen Favouriten hätte ich nicht, sehen sich ja wirklich sehr ähnlich.

Ich seh´s genauso Marion - bin jetzt in einer Zwickmühle!
Das Latex ist mir hier tatsächlich einen Tick besser gelungen - dafür ist ihr Gesicht eine Spur gelber geworden (allerdings nicht so drastisch wie auf dem Photo).
Ist auf jeden Fall interessant zu sehen wie unterschiedlich ein Bild beim zweiten malen werden kann...
