My first submission 2008 is dedicated to one of the strongest and most powerfull women i´ve ever meet here on

She´s a nude model with one difference - she consider herself a creative catalyst for her own imagination.
Not just "the photographers model", but an artist in her own right.
Her body and face are the tools that breath life into her visions...

one day as i was scrolling along new deviations...i see a pic of MUSE1979...so what do i do....become so intrigued with her work...she is amazing...incredible...

then what do i do....discover "the chcoolate side of MUSE"....i felt like a freakin kid at a concert that had to of my favorite bands...playing on stage...together!!


ok...enough of that...need to act my age.....great work my friend!!

It almost looks like you've copyed the left side reversed it and made it into greyscale! They are almost identical ^^ Awesome!

Thank you so much Per, it was the most difficult drawing i ever did.I had to draw 2 pictures at the same time - one in color and one black and white.I hope, that the lovely :muse1979: submit her fantastic reference picture in the next time.

Wie schafft du es nur so schnell solch wundervolle Werke zu zaubern? Ich brauch Eeeewigkeiten dafür, meine Bilanz von 2007 war schlichtweg schlecht.
9 Bilder in diesem Jahr, recht wenig

Nunja zum Bild, hier mag ich besonders das gegenüberlegen von Farbe und Schwarz/Weiß.
Wunderschöne Details und diese Hand, einfach schön

Quatsch, deine Bilanz war nicht schlecht, es war einfach Klasse statt Masse!
Im Moment habe ich ca. 10 Bilder angefangen in meinem Atelier herumliegen, daher mein Tempo.Ich male Bilder teilweise über Monate und dann auf einmal klappt´s recht zügig mit dem Fertigstellen.
In dieser Woche habe ich sogar 3 Bilder beendet...

Danke 10 angefangene Bilder? Wow, ich bin eher der mach eins-fertig-typ und dann fang neues an. Mittlerweile habe ich immer 2 nebenher laufen, falls das eine mich nervt ich woanders weitermachen kann. Aber 10. Verliert man da nicht den Überblick.

Eher gehen mir die Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeiten aus.Meine Mappe ist voll, mein 2.Schreibtisch ist voll, die Wände ebenso.
Im Durchschnitt investiere ich so um die 40 Stunden in ein Bild, angefangen vom scannen der Vorlage, das drucken in die benötigte Größe, erstellen der Skizze etc.
Ich verliere sehr leicht die Konzentration, daher habe ich es aufgegeben, ein Bild komplett zu malen.Das merke ich z.B. an meinem neuen "LOST" Motiv.Da habe ich mittlerweile fast 40 Stunden investiert und in meinen Augen wird es eins meiner besten Portraits überhaupt- und jetzt merke ich das ich ungeduldig werde und da habe ich es erst einmal bei Seite gelegt.
Außerdem forsche ich immer wieder nach neuen Motiven und dann kommen mir schnell neue Arbeiten dazwischen.
Jetzt bin ich gerade auf dem "Muse" Trip - dieses wundervolle Modell hat mir einen freien Zugang zu ihrer website eingerichtet und da sind unendlich viele Motive zu finden, die ich sofort malen könnte...

Ja, diese Art von Storage-Problem kenn ich zu gut Aber da ich mittlerweile einen mickrigen Durchschnitt im Jahr habe, wird das aber auch nich schlimmer.
40 Stunden bei mir meistens auch für ein Werk drin, außer bei Davy Jones, der hatte weniger, warum auch immer.

Ich forsche auch gern nach neuen Motiven, such nach guten Posen, die man verwenden kann, doch das ist auch nicht immer leicht.

Freu mich schon auf neue Werke von Dir
