This beautiful bird is heavily associated with the sun not just because of its fiery plumage but also because it is the perfect symbol for the sun rising, setting, and then rising afresh again the following day.

This OOAK resplendent phoenix perches on a detailed copper hoop, his wings outspread and ready to soar into the sky. His tail is set with six crystals and his feathers are accented with gold and bronze mica powders that shimmer in the light.

Sculpted in polymer clay, painted with acrylics and mica powders and sealed. No molds or templates were used to create this piece.
