Inktober 2023, Day 23- Celestial

Got another one for ya. Also late, but I’m going by sunrise rules where I’m at. I dig this one, but I wish I could have created more contrast with the sky. It’s pretty dark looking at it with the naked eye, but the sheen created from the black ink makes it look lighter than it actually is. I couldn’t make it better not matter what camera angle I took it from. I’ve had this issue before, but I think because everything in the picture is so dark, it was kind of unavoidable. It’s probably the inkiest drawing I’ve done this year. I might have to try a different ink next time. Idk. Anyway, I tried my best to create a celestial looking sky, and for that I’m mostly satisfied with it.
