Inktober 2023, Day 24- Shallow

Another ultra late one. I was tired, though. And out celebrating some birthdays. BLEH! 👻

Oh, to be a fool who splashes around in the rain. Wish I could go back there some days. Maybe I’ll buy a good raincoat and rain boots and just do it again. Sigh…

Anyway, don’t mind the bluish spots. I was testing out a Fudenosuke white pen. It works pretty well on toned paper by itself, but if you put it over ink, it turns blue for some reason. I vaguely recall having a similar problem with another drawing I did way back when, but I used a different pen. So far, the Sakura Gelly Roll white pens seem to be the only ones that go on white and stay white. I tried to correct it a little, but then I got bored and decided to submit it anyway. If anyone knows anymore good tools for adding highlights to ink drawings, please let me know!

Done with Fudenosuke soft tip, ink wash, white gelly roll pen, and Fudenosuke white pen.
