Those people just replaces the believing in an imaginary person with UFOs, paranomarl, pyramids. For me they are not real atheist.
Also, atheism is only non-believing in an imaginary entity. All of you believe in that imaginary entity, but that don't change at all your biology, so an atheist person is just a normal person, so can do good and bad.
But, I didn't see anyone killing for the spreading of this. I consider that I am a step up above those believing, I don't need to spread anything.

I agree 100%, I respect everyone until they give me reason not to.
Though my entire life, every christian I've ever encountered has been a huge asshole to me, hypocritical, or has USED their religion for their own self gain.
My loving christian father beat the living fuck out of me until I had PTSD.
Then some high up staff member in my school told me that I was possessed, and that the reason I had PTSD, depression, anxiety ect... Was because I didn't love Jesus enough- and that I chose to be those things. {I'm professionally diagnosed btw}
I entirely blame that Christian for me dropping out; although there were other reasons that added up to that decision- I was too suicidal at that time and he pushed me right out of high school. How could I be comfortable with him- lurking around every corner- waiting to criticize me because I wore a pentagram- and liked to dress in black. As I struggled to get to class while having a panic attack, his ass lecturing me on how sinful I am was the LAST thing I needed.
I've yet to come across a decent christian. {Also, they're willfully ignorant by believing in that crap}
And as edgy- or pretentious as any atheist might be; they're not going to refuse to marry someone because that said someone is homosexual.

I was raised in a heavily religious catholic family who forced their faith on me when I said through out my life that I had to intrest in the belief. Even today my family won't talk to me because I'm not a carbon copy of them all -.- I've never been religious, I've always believed in the laws of science and prefers a textbook over a bible. Though I like the great feeling of faith and security that many religions can bring into a person's life, I've never felt a strong connection to any god
