The end...Nr. 4
This series was inspired by a lot of things... the music by Sopor Aeternus, madness, fear, loneliness etc. I always find it hard to describe the exact thoughts behind my work, since it's usually based on feelings.

it's got this air of a theatre scence, modern drama. don't know why is reminds me of ionesco or beckett... i like it a lot a lot. you're a great artist

The hint of dissolution here is breathtaking... black hair and gloves melting into the darkness, black-and-greyish stripes below the kneecaps of the model suggesting the gradual yet inevitable swallowing up... Life seeps from her...
Then one notices the hand on the thigh.
I interpret this as a balance in reality: The deceased shimmers with purity even in death, her burdens unshackled, lifted from her, her body eulogised, her soul canonised. The brutality, eventuality of death, mitigated by love and hope.

Great photo. i really love the contrast between . . . everything.
the white image on the black background,the abscence of the palms of the head of her and the hands that are holding her and even her shaved hair and her long hair.

Very good idea well carried-out. I would've definitely gotten rid of the hand. I'm pretty sure you edited out the rest of whomever was holding her's body? Would've been better to either have them fade away into blackness or remove an sign of their presence all together.
The white dress and striped stockings are great.
I like it...but the hand just bothers me a lot!! If it weren't there I'd love this image 10000 times more.

I think it safe to say that you have good working relationships with your models. Very intriguing poses with all the models and this is just another example of that.
I'm a bit curious to know what it would have done if the hands were wearing the gloves instead.

...And the angel of death came to claim what only he could touch, the soul of the dead was his to deliver to its next destination in it's eternal journey. He loved his duty, every soul was different and in that instant of delivery he could see everything it had every been through, the good, the bad and the magical all of it was his for that instant. Souls the opium of the angels.

interesting idea... very conceptual, if i tink of teh title and image together. the drakness is so overpowering in teh shot that is is scary... reminds me of movies as well, where they sometimes cary bodies. this image is so silent, and yet it feels like it wants to say something... -ok, my imagination in running wild here

Agh no Carolina! Well she looks dead, but it is Carolina. I would remove the gray/green blotches in the mid far right, upper far left, mid center just above her lower torso and the one left of her hand to give the picture a cleaner look. This reminds me of death and ascension of a forgotten and judged person.

As ever, amazing. The only thing that bothers me is the hand. It's not a bad thing, because it has two possibilities.
1. As someone said above, it's really mysterious with just the one hand and it makes you want to know who is carrying her away.
2. If the hand wasn't there, it'd look even more mysterious because it'd look like she was floating! now that would be amazing, but it's amazing so blah lol.
Excellent work, you really should go for an exhibition of some sort, i know i'd visit and i want to buy prints
