Wow! You've turned the 'standard kitty photo' into something really interesting, and even amusing to look at. I really like the muted colours - makes the eyes stand out even more. The fact that you've turned the photo aound works really well for it compositionally also, all focus is on the cat's eyes - it almost becomes a portrait! And I just love the cat's expression, perfect capture!
