Thanks, I was trying something new. I'm not sure how I feel about it, but I think I like it.
Hmmm yes, I can see them going either way. Because no matter how hard I try to think about G1/Animated Shockwave being all loyal and kissing Megatrons ass, my mind just keeps wandering to the many incarnations of comicbook Shockwave who didn't take shit from anybody!
If Megs were a sub to anybody, I like to think it would be Shockwave.

I adore Shockwave's "eye"/countenance in this pic! And the location of his hand, obviously!
If I won't get kicked for a point of critique though, I'm confused about the poses they're in. Somehow, the positions of their legs don't seem to match with the positions of their chests.

I will never kick! I eat up critiques like ketchup on french fries. I wish people weren't so afraid to give them these days. Anyways, yeah, I fear you are right. I think It's Megatron's "stomach/abs/mid-section, or whatever" that is lined up wrong and making things look a bit wonky. Also, one of his shoulders is totally missing. Srsly... it's just... not there, lol.
Shockwave's hand? I can't tell if he's going to try and pull Megs into some sort of hug, or do a super epic hip-bump.

If there is anything that Deviant Art desperately needs more of, it's brutal honesty. When I went to art school they would laugh you out of a class if you didn't give good critiques, then they would brutally tear apart your best work until you realized that it was riddled with perspective errors. But nobody cried about it, because it made you a better artist. And it made sure your next drawing didn't suck so hard. I'm not here to have people kiss my feet, I'm here to make art and look at art other people made. And what's the point of that, if I never want to bother improving myself?
I appreciate all sorts of helpful/constructive feedback. The only thing I ever really get put off by is bashing of subject matter. For example if you said "This picture sucks because I hate Shockwave" or "This sucks because I hate this pairing" or something like that. If you're dislike for the subject of the picture is all you have to say about it, I couldn't give a shit what you think.
As yes. A sideways hole in his chest. Totally clears up that matter, lol.

Hm, just for curiosity's sake, what do you think of 'critique' on the following matters:
1.) The bashing of subject matter that is bashing itself. As you may know, this fandom has a couple of hate targets, like Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime, Arcee, Wheelie, Elita One and some others. What if the whole point of a piece of "art" is bashing that character? What if the critique then is focussed on the subject of bashing as immature and pathetic, needlessly hurtful to the people who like the character and thus look for it only to find thΓ‘t and sometimes just plain WTF? (in particular when the hate is channeled through other characters, like for instance Prime wanting One dead or Optimus insulting/punching Rodimus)?
2.) What if critique is all that can be given because the subject is too troubling? For instance, I pretty much only gave critique on the subject matter in my first post on Lilith. I didn't quite use the words "this sucks", but I did only voice my dislike of your intention of making her hateable.

You just know Shockwave is Megatron's fallback man. And when people are drunk, it's usually the truth being exposed. I can definitely see Megatron having a D&M with Shocky, and Shockwave would listen SO intently.
I adore your style, it's very differet--in a GOOD way. And Shockwave's expression can either be taken as listening, or him being like 'You're drunk again, Megatron?' XD And I agree, Shockwave's antennae are excellent here!

I'm rather fond of the "You're drunk again, Megaton?" idea.
It fits better than anything I could have come up with, lol.
Thanks. I super exaggerated my style here. I was getting bored of how I was drawing and needed to try something new. I think I like it.

I like it. It kinda reminds me a little of Animated, too, as the limbs are quite thin rather than being chunky in G1. It looks really nice. And like you said before, it gets boring seeing the same style over and over again [as in other people].

Cute! This pair makes more sense than Megs/Screamer. These have matching personalities.

Thanks.
It's very hard to give Shockwave an "expression" seeing as he has no face, lol.
