I read the fic you recommended and I must say that I really liked it! Normally in these kinda fic's the relationship's are always sparked by a special and/or tragic change that unites the couple, so it's refreshing to see it handled differently and even realistically!

I think the pic is suppose to indicate that Twilight and RD adopted Scootaloo {Since "Scootaloo is an orphan" is a popular fan theory}. Plus, we don't know the actual ages of any of the mane 6, but they all seem old enough to have jobs at least {Alongside Twilight recently becoming a princess too}.
